Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit organization that provides free therapeutic programs for children ages 7-17 who have experienced the death of a parent, guardian or sibling. The free camps include confidence building programs and age-based support groups that break the emotional isolation grief often brings. Our programs empower children to be able to grieve, heal, and grow in healthy ways.
Each camp weekend requires the help of over 100 volunteers to provide 1-on-1 support for each camper. We also need medical professionals, grief therapists, group support, and camp support and we would love to have your students as part of that team.
