Street  Closings for "Stronger" Filming

Street Closing: April 30, 2016
Filming of "Stronger"

The crew for the upcoming feature film "Stronger," telling the story of Boston Marathon Bombing survivor Jeff Bauman and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, has reached out to the Back Bay Association to work with us on street closings necessary for the filming of the movie.

From approximately 6 am to 10:30 am on April 30, filming will take place on the corner of Boylston Street and Hereford Street.  This filming will necessitate the closure of Boylston Street from Hereford Street to Gloucester Street during this time.  Vehicular traffic will still have access to Boylston Street.

The filming crew will open up Hereford Street just after 8:30 am, so that filming is contained to Boylston Street in front of the Hynes Convention Center.

After 10:30am, filming will move down to Exeter Street between Newbury and Boylston Street; Exeter Street between Newbury Street and Boylston Street will be closed from approximately 6 am to 3 pm.

At both filming locations, pedestrian access will be allowed. There will be a large presence from the Boston Police Department on scene to help facilitate closures and to ensure the flow of pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
