Interested in going on a service trip during Spring Break??

The Office of Student Life at Boston Architectural College is interested in sending a group of students on an Alternative Spring Break! This Alternative Spring Break would be a week-long service trip during spring break in March. The schedule is to be decided, but students would leave for the trip after March 15th (after classes end before spring break) and would get back to Boston before March 26th (before classes start after spring break). In addition, the location is to be decided, but some potential locations include Maine, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware!

We hope to be doing volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity, an organization that partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Projects may include building a new house, repairs to an existing house, or another type of assignment that helps meet Habitat’s goals within that community.

As we plan this exciting trip, we need your help! Click here to take our poll, which will ask about your interest in potentially participating in a service trip. Your participation in this poll would be greatly appreciated, as it will give us a better idea of how many students we can expect to participate. You are not at all expected to attend or not based on your responses, we just want to get a better idea of how many people would be interested! In addition, there will be an information session for the service trip at 6 PM on Tuesday, November 7th in the Fishbowl. If you are interested in participating but want to learn more about the trip first, please feel free to attend!
