Adeline (Ada) Graves was a graduate and long-standing supporter of the BAC and a dedicated and caring friend of many generations of BAC students. The Adeline Graves Fournier Scholarship was established in 1997 at the Boston Architectural College by her husband, Joseph Fournier, and her family. This award honors her great enthusiasm for life and art.
This scholarship rewards a meritorious student who demonstrates creativity, integrity, a sense of humor, and love of drawing in all aspects.
$3,000 will be awarded to the first place recipient and $1,250 will be awarded to the second place recipient to be credited to their Spring 2018 semester.
To apply, students must:
- Be enrolled in any degree program at the BAC
- Be in Segment I, II, or III and in good academic standing
- Have not previously won this prize
- Submit one current sketchbook with their freehand drawings, illustrating work and impressions gained while attending the BAC. Work from previous schools should not be included. Work cannot be done on a computer.
